Be careful with having something on the tip of your tongue, forgetting people’s names or what you have just said since these can be symptoms of Alzheimer – a disease suffered by 1,200.00 million people in Spain and almost 500,000 of them without diagnosis

Scarcity of specialized units on Dementia and lack of information in the families are causes for diagnosis’ absence, according to some researches.

Due to celebration of World Alzheimer’s Day, Cianorte-Laguna Foundation of Madrid explains that recognizing Alzheimer’s first symptoms is essential to make an early diagnosis. That’s why role of families is very important.
