Marín became the athlete with the most Badminton World Championships in history after winning her third title in the Chinese city of Taikang when she beat India’s Pusarla Venkata Sindhu (21-19, 21-10) in a match that started tied but that He soon opted for the Spanish side.
The Olympic champion in Rio 2016 adds this world title to the two obtained in 2014 and 2015 and with three titles she becomes the player that has won more World Cups since this competition was established in 1977.
