CLARA PEETERS UNTIL FEBRUARY IN THE PRADO

Clara Peeters (Antwerp, 1594 – Flanders, 1658) was one of the key artists in the development of the Flemish baroque painting and pioneer in painting of still lifes of the era, as well as the first woman who exhibited at the Museo del Prado (Madrid, Spain), who she returns centuries later, not from “gender mainstreaming” and if “for its quality in Baroque art”.
