DO YOU KNOW WHO SPEAK THE “BANANA” LANGUAGE?

Miami (U.S.A.) // The “banana language” is a mixture of several languages like Spanish, English or Japanese, and among the most used words by these beings that speak it are “bello” and “papaya”: but what beings speak a language with a name of fruit?

The banana language is the language of the minions who are back in the third part of Gru 3. My favourite villain and they again show themselves “evil” and at the same time “adorable”, the perfect contradiction that became those yellow beings into a worldwide phenomenon, according to Miranda Cosgrove, who puts Margo’s voice in the English voice.

Cosgrove, with a yellow dress with white pockets that imitate look of a minion, says in an interview with EFE that the “decisive factor” of the minions’ success is that they “want to be bad” but “are the most cute things” that she has seen. So, it is “impossible” to reach the level of evil they claim.

The banana language

The 24-year-old Californian girl is a fan of these little creatures who speak a language created from a mixture of several existing languages such as Spanish, English or Japanese, and which her followers know as “banana language.”

Cosgrove’s favourite words in that invented language are “bello,” which is the way minions greet and look like “hello” in English. Another of its favourites is “papaya”, to which these creatures that frequently accompany the protagonist, Gru.

“They are just adorable,” says an actress who has lived from within the popularity of characters who started seven years ago as secondary and now have their own animated feature and a second part on the road set for 2020.

In the film Gru 3. My Favourite Villain, directed by Pierre Coffin and Kyle Balda, Gru meets his lost brother Dru and together they fight super-villain Bratt who tries to wipe Los Angeles off the map of the world, in revenge against Hollywood. (EFE/Practica Español, June 29, 2017)
