The Firemen of Madrid evacuated to nine neighbours of 4 houses that were confined in their houses after the collapse, without wounded, of the internal footbridges of a corrala in the number 23 of the Santísima Trinidad street, in the district of Chamberí.
Around seven o’clock in the afternoon, the firemen of the City council of Madrid began to remove to the neighbours who remained confined in their houses, through a provisional scaffolding installed in the patio as a staircase, once demolished the footbridges that remained standing.
Four firefighters of the City Council of Madrid intervened in the rescue work.

Read translation of the transcription:
“When we arrived, then, there had to be… the inner part, the neighbours who are in the interior who were very nervous, (we had to) reassured them, (we said them) they should stay at their houses, which is where they would be most comfortable; those on the outside too, and we have begun to deconstruct, to eliminate risks, to create a safe space for both the interveners and the neighbors who are inside. We continue demolishing.”
