The President of the Government, Mariano Rajoy, has apologized to all Spaniards on behalf of his party, PP, for being appointed persons who are not “worthy” of their position and that “apparently” have abused them .
Rajoy has said that fully understands and shares “the anger and weariness” of the Spaniards because of the events linked to corruption, which are “particularly hurtful” in the face of the sacrifices and efforts they have done in bringing Spain out of the crisis economic.
Rajoy has said that as President of the Government, he must act to avoid corruption and for this reason ,he has announced that the Government will approve a law to control the economic financing of the political parties, even if PSOE doesn´t support it.
Yesterday, the President of the PP in Madrid, Esperanza Aguirre, apologized on TV to the citizens and the party members by the appointment of Francisco Granados as a senior member of the Community of Madrid.
The Chief Executive spoke in the control session of the Senate before responding to a question by the spokesman of the Socialist group in the House.
