Washington / This Thursday, the last collection of files of the U.S. Government on the assassination of John F. Kennedy, that still were unpublished, will be partially or totally released.
About 3,100 official records previously classified and guarded by the U.S. National Archives will be released on Thursday if U.S. President Donald Trump does not prevent it, as dictated by a law passed in 1992.
Trump advanced last Saturday that he would allow to release the documents and the imminent revelation that keep historians and defenders of the conspiracy theories in suspense, but White House has hinted that the publication could be only partial and that Trump could block the disclosure of some documents deemed sensitive by CIA or other branches from U.S. Government.
Although the experts do not expect to find any bombshell among the files, the documents could shed light on the agreements reached by the United States and Mexico that allowed the CIA to monitor the embassies of Cuba and the Soviet Union when Kennedy’s assassin, Lee Harvey Oswald, visited these in 1963.
